Last weekend we went camping with friends in spite of rain in the forecast.
Turns out we only had a few showers. I am so glad we went. It was a much needed time of fun and fellowship.
We really only slept at our site, most of the time we all hung out at Crystal and Kevin’s site.
Beautiful views
Nature Study (Caleb is an expert in all things nature by the way. His daddy has taught him well and we all learned lots of things about insects. Yep, Caleb is my bug buddy.)
What is camping without a little mud while having fun with friends?? Good thing we have a bathhouse near our campsite. (Although the ladies all decided next time we are getting the sites directly across from the bathhouse. Middle of the night trips in the dark is no fun. Bears are there you know.)
Yummy Food, what is camping without yummy food with family and friends ??
Happy Birthday Crystal!!
Church on Sunday Morning, a wonderful time of bible study, singing, and fellowship.
I must say the most special thing about the entire weekend was the flowers Ryan surprised me with when he, his girlfriend Emily, and my nephew Daniel came up to eat dinner with us Saturday night. What a sweet young man he is growing up to be. Just yesterday he was two and saying, “Buy mommy flowers?” every time he went somewhere with his daddy. Now he is buying them all on his own.

Oh my word what a fun time!!!
I thought of both of you ladies, camping is really one big nature study and lots of yummy food. OH, and coffee... What more can you ask for??
Awww~ very sweet about the flowers :-) What a great camping trip.
There is something extra nice about gathering together and reading God's Word around a campfire :-)
