The Best of Friends

Sterling brought Ace home to Hope when she was 5 months old and Ace was 5 weeks old. They are the best of friends. As soon as he hears her outside he runs to the backyard to join her. He is so gentle with her, letting her chase him around or pry a stick or ball from his mouth. He is also very protective of her. On our nature walks he is right by her side. If he thinks she is hurt or upset he runs to her side, making sure she is okay. They love and watch out for each other.  Isn't that what friendship is all about?

Yes this what friendship is all about. As the saying goes, the best love is dog love. It is truly a blessing to have a well trained dog around children. Our children can learn so much from animals. Ace looks so sweet!
